Desires more than anything to be a horseman. I now I find myself where God wants me to be, and I am happy in the life I now find myself. I have found that if you make no effort to get what it is you want, and then the waiting for what you want is in vain. If having tried with no success was the rule for giving up, and then most successful people would be stuck in their failure. I was/am a U. S. Marine, who is a member of the Marine Corps League Detachment 1096 currently serving as Sargert at Arms. But other than that I am retired and spend most of my time now playing with horses. I train them, go on an overnight camping trip with them, compete at horse shows, and as soon as I can find me a fast enough horse I am going to start back on the NBHA circuit.
I will delete any abusive or offensive comment from my page but I let stand all opinion where I agree with them or not whether they be friends or not. I do not wish just to talk to the people I agree with, my mind is close only on a few subjects, for example, “It is my country, right or wrong”. If any opinion I hold is in error I wish to discover the error and correct it. I have absolutely no problem admitting I am wrong once I understand that I was wrong. That is one reason I love to debate so much, e.g., to test my worldview for errors. In things for which they can be no proof I consider the path to be chosen entirely up to the individual where it be the materialistic godless or a god based path. It is when another derides the individual as stupid in choosing their path that I weigh in.
I am cursed with an ability to see why someone could legitimately choose to walk either way. I also understand that there are many different views of what God may be, and how best to walk the path to realization or salvation, but I am also carrying the belief that they cannot all be right, and that some paths lead into, if not damnation, a deeper separating from God.
As well as being self educated on many subjects I hold two undergraduate degrees as well as a Masters in Businesses a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology the Chicago Campus, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Lambuth University in Jackson Tennessee, and an MBA from Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri. I worked many years as a Service Engineer on Medical Imaging Diagnostic Equipment, CT, MRI, Nuclear Cameras, and R/F Rooms, now, as I said above, I just play with horses.
As far as my politics go, I am a libertarian. A libertarian believes that anyone should be allowed to do anything they may wish as long as someone else does not have to pay for it. They believe that the less government the better it is for all involved except those who what to govern. I do not want to govern nor do I wish to be governed. A Libertarian is someone who believes that all behaviors are permitted by man and should not be interfered with by the government except when one’s action harms another. A Constitutionalist is a person who believes that the US Constitution is the binding agreement and guidelines of our government, and all government laws should be held within the boundaries set by the Constitution. And of course a Christian is a person who believes in our Lord Jesus Christ, and holds that all of our actions should strive to obtain and live the type of life that Jesus directed us to live, while at the same time realizing that we cannot work our way to salvation and accept the fact that salvation is of the Grace of God, not by the works of man. Thus when I say that I am a Christian Constitutional Libertarian I am saying that I am a Libertarian who is a Christian (no all Libertarians are) first, who believes that the U.S. Constitution is a limiting force upon the powers of our government that the government should be required to honor. I have six horses and a mule, three dogs, two hounds and a lap dog, cats are not safe around here.
I also have a lady, Donna, who works for me in return for room and board and transportation. She has her own room and cook and cleans for me, as well as watches the horses while I am away on trips. She has been with me since 2000. I would like to expand on this a bit, since it seems there are many women who just cannot get it. If I had a man working for me who had his own room would you necessarily think I was queer? They why should you think that because I have a woman working for me that there has to be something sexual going on?
I have a nice home that sits in the middle of a five acre pasture. I do not see me moving from this place, which for the most part, I built by myself. Cleared the trees from the pasture, dug all the post holes for the fence, put up all the gates, spread the gravel on the driveway, and built the most with my own hands the house I live in.
